Video: Louis C.K.’s I Love You, Daddy – 2017 TIFF Post Screening Q&A

The pre-fest announcement that Louis C.K. had directed a project that went into production this summer and was going to be ready in September came as a total surprise as it really was completely off the radar. Of course, the filmmaker directed plenty since 2001’s Pootie Tang, but it has nonetheless been sixteen years between feature film. World premiere screening for I Love You, Daddy took place at the Ryerson, and positioned itself as a major grab for distributors with The Orchard picking up the B&W film for $5m. Several cast members made the trip to Toronto for the preem. Here is the post screening Q&A.
