Video: Aaron Sorkin’s Molly’s Game – 2017 TIFF Presentation

Date:

After Social Network, Moneyball, and Steve Jobs in the tens, Aaron Sorkin finally moves to the front of the camera with his directorial debut which was naturally afforded some name cast and therefore landing a red carpet splashed, showcase friendly world premiere at TIFF. Starring Jessica Chastain and Idris Elba, Molly’s Game presents the notion of high stakes and applies it to more than just the world of gambling with what we could call assertive entrepreneurialism. Film industry wise, this becomes a legit sound box office and awards season bet for the STX Entertainment folks. This will be released on November 22nd. Here is the intro to the premiere.
