Exclusive: The Stone Speakers Trailer

The 69th Berlin Intl. Film Festival kicks off today and we have your exclusive first look at the trailer to The Stone Speakers (Kameni govornici) by filmmaker Igor Drljača. His first docu feature film was selected for TIFF 2018 (Wavelengths section) and is premiering in the Forum section. Set in present-day Bosnia-Herzegovina — a country still reeling from the civil war in the early 90s. The Bosnian economy never recovered, and the country remains divided. In order to cope, many towns have transformed themselves into unique tourist destinations that bring together history, religion, politics and folklore. Eric Lavallée is the founder, CEO, editor-in-chief, film journalist, and critic at IONCINEMA.com, established in 2000. A regular at Sundance, Cannes, and Venice, Eric holds a BFA in film studies from the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema. In 2013, he served on the narrative competition jury at the SXSW Film Festival. He was an associate producer on Mark Jackson’s "This Teacher" (2018 LA Film Festival, 2018 BFI London). He is a Golden Globes Voter, member of the ICS (International Cinephile Society) and AQCC (Association québécoise des critiques de cinéma).
