The Gist: Scripted by Guillermo Del Toro and Matthew Robbins, this is based on a remake of the 1973 ABC TV movie. This centers on a young girl, sent to live with her father and his new girlfriend, who discovers sinister creatures that live underneath the stairs.

Cast: Guy Pearce, Katie Holmes and Bailee Madison.

Release Date/Status?: A 2010 release that hopefully Miramax will get behind in it’s release.
