Craig Zobel might have been bombarded with projects/offers since his 2007 breakout Sundance hit Great World of Sound, but somehow this smaller, quickly financed and filmed project (which also sees thesp Pat Healy) appears to be the solid sophomore picture fans of the filmmaker might be waiting for. Locked earlier in the year, Compliance was among the coin recipients of the Cinereach Project at Sundance Institute in 2011 – we expect a U.S Dramatic Comp slot. Gist: When a prank caller convinces a fast food restaurant manager to interrogate an innocent young employee (Dreama Walker), no one is left unscathed. We’ve got a feeling it is based on this true event.
