Austin Film Critics think ‘The Dark Knight’ is Best of 2008

Date:

The kids at Austin’s Film Critics Association did drink the Kool-Aid. The group has become the first and perhaps the only ones to nominate Nolan’s The Dark Knight as the best picture of 2008. Interesting category wins include Colin Watkinson’s cinematography work for The Fall, the Breakthrough Artist Award which went to Danny McBride for his work in Pineapple Express, The Foot Fist Way and Tropic Thunder…and finally best First Film went to Nacho Vigalondo for Timecrimes.
