Cast: I imagine the use of local actors and non-actors.

Why is it on the list?Winner of the Palme d’or for his 2008 short film Megatron, Crisan’s voice as a filmmaker appears to employ the same aesthetics and emulate some of the concerns addressed by his fellow filmmaker peers (situating the country with the influences of the East and West). Should continue the excellent wave of films from Romania.

Release Date/Status?: Cannes Un Certain Regard section would be a suitable start for this debut. If quality is top notch then showings in North America’s TIFF and NYFF.
