Top 100 Most Anticipated Films of 2012: #81. Rian Johnson’s Looper

Sci-fi in September? Not sure why Sony isn’t tent-poling the release of Rian Johnson’s third film, which should be brimming with the same creative wit we became accustomed with his first pair of outings. This time travel caboose which sounds like the thinking man’s version of Inception, oddly includes Joseph Gordon-Levitt (returning to the Johnson fold since Brick) and Paul Dano who is going to have one hell of a 2012.
