Eric Lavallée is the founder, CEO, editor-in-chief, film journalist, and critic at IONCINEMA.com, established in 2000. A regular at Sundance, Cannes, and Venice, Eric holds a BFA in film studies from the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema. In 2013, he served on the narrative competition jury at the SXSW Film Festival. He was an associate producer on Mark Jackson’s "This Teacher" (2018 LA Film Festival, 2018 BFI London). He is a Golden Globes Voter, member of the ICS (International Cinephile Society), FIPRESCI and AQCC (Association québécoise des critiques de cinéma).

Rob Meyer will see his coming-of-age, award-winning short expand into feature film, so we can assume that today's casting mention of Bryan Cranston and Ben Kingsley are the supporting players needed to push the project along little further. A Birder’s Guide To Everything, Crossroads Films' (David Gordon Green's Snow Angels) next project will start lensing this Summer.

Cannes 2010: Claire Denis is Head of the Un Certain Regard Jury

I've been pegging Bertucelli's long-awaited film as a guaranteed Croisette item, further confirmation comes in Charlotte Gainsbourg's world tour dates, the strategic break from performing indicates the star of the film will be taking some time off to ensure a red carpet presence.
