On this week’s episode of IndieSponge, Kevin Jagernauth and I talk talk about Jeff Nichols‘ possible sixth feature film Yankee Commandante (which would feature Adam Driver), Radio Silence team with Daisy Ridley for book to film Swedish thriller project The Ice Beneath Her, Riley StearnsDual – a sci-fi project with Karen Gillan taking on not one, but two roles. And speaking of actors playing two parts we go into the An American Pickle landing at HBO Max, and Universal disrupting the industry with the upcoming release of The King of Staten Island and finally we look into the film festival situation and new qualifying rules for the next Academy Awards (bye bye screeners, and hello streaming).
