Wishful Thinking: Casting Complete on Kristoffer Borgli’s “Dream Scenario”

Striking while the iron is hot helmer Kristoffer Borgli has found his co-lead and supporting players for his English language feature debut which appears to be filming this year. Variety reports that Julianne Nicholson will star alongside Nicolas Cage and Michael Cera, Tim Meadows, Kate Berlant, Dylan Baker and Dylan Gelula will fill in the rest of the cast on what was being described simply as an “American comedy” back on the Croisette. The A24 folks are backing Dream Scenario — which was probably ready to go well before Sick of Myself was showcased in the Un Certain Regard section (we were at the premiere – see below). Square Peg’s Ari Aster and Lars Knudsen are producing. So are Jacob Jaffke and Tyler Campellone.
