Top 100 Most Anticipated American Indie Films of 2018: #41. Joshua Marston’s Come Sunday

Come Sunday

Joshua Marston‘s fourth feature film once again sees him work within a dramatic genre framework, but becomes a first bio-treatment for the helmer who gave us Maria Full of Grace (2004), The Forgiveness of Blood (2011), and Complete Unknown (2016). The project has had a lot of hopeful starts, since 2010 names such as Marc Forster, Robert Redford, Jeffrey Wright, Jonathan Demme have circled the project, until Joshua Marston and Chiwetel Ejiofor signed on in July. Principal photography began same time last year.
