Vincent Lacoste & Juliette Binoche to Get Schooled in Christophe Honoré’s “Le Lycéen” (Winter Boy)

Date:

‘Tis the season to be jolly for Christophe Honoré as he is set to begin lensing Le Lycéen next week with a trio comprised of a Baby Boomer, Millennial and Centennial. Cineuropa reports that Honoré will reteam with Plaire, aimer et courir vite (aka Sorry Angel) and On a Magical Night (read review) thesp Vincent Lacoste, acting royalty Juliette Binoche and youngling Paul Kircher. Production will end mid February. Les Films Pelléas’ Philippe Martin and David Thion (profiled here) will produce. Pyramide International will likely begin pre-sales during Berlin.

Gist: Written by Honoré, there are currently no details on the plot, but the film title and casting points to some school student and prof dynamic.

Worth Noting: Honoré last film was the little seen Guermantes (Deauville Film Festival).

Do We Care?: With production concluding in February, we’re lining up towards a possible Locarno Film Festival showing.
