2019 Sundance Film Festival Predictions: #100. Alex Winter – Zappa

Date:

With Sundance having premiered Thorsten Schütte’s Eat That Question: Frank Zappa in His Own Words just a couple of years back, perhaps they’ll not want to feature more Zappa, but this docu project that Alex Winter has been financing and working on for a while now has got a huge fanbase. We’re not sure where he might be in the process (sorting out the archive of music and visual elements made available by the family) so we consider this our hail Mary pass prediction of our 100 set.

Rooftop Films 2019

Gist: Previously titled Who The F*@% Is Frank Zappa, this is a docu on the musician.

Production Co./Producers: Glen Zipper

Prediction: Documentary Premieres.

U.S. Distributor: Rights Available. TBD (domestic). Great Point Media (international).
