2023 Prix Louis-Delluc: Justine Triet, Catherine Breillat & Thomas Cailley Among 9 Noms

Only days after it won the Jean Vigo prize, Dominique MarchaisLa Rivière will face off against the likes of Justine Triet‘s Anatomie d’une chute, Catherine Breillat‘s L’Été dernier and Mona Achache‘s Little Girl Blue for the annual Louis-Delluc prize. Other contenders include the Quinzaine preemed Cédric Kahn‘s Le Procès Goldman and Pierre Creton‘s Un Prince, Berlinale titles Claire Simon‘s Notre Corps and Patric Chiha‘s La Bête dans la jungle and Un Certain Regard opener Thomas Cailley‘s Le Règne animal. Among the five finalists for Best Debut, we find a trio of Critics’ Week items in Stephan Castang‘s Vincent doit mourir, Iris Kaltenbäck‘s Le ravissement and Simon Rieth‘s Nos cérémonies. Here are the noms in blullet point form. The winners (and it could be a tie like last year) will be unveiled on December 6th. The jury is composed of 20 members, made up of a group of film critics and personalities who are cultural significance. The award was created in 1937.
