Live from Cannes: 2023 Cannes Critics’ Panel – Meet the Jury!

Last year Ruben Östlund took home the big daddy of film prizes winning his second Palme d’Or and this year he gets to be on the flip-side as the jury president. He and his eight film people peers will take in twenty-one titles to be exact…and so will the majority of our annual Cannes Critics’ Panel – a regular Croisette meal here we’ve been offering since 2011 to be exact. It’s a load of fun to see how our grid scores output compares to the other trades who put the types out there. We have plenty of familiar names/faces returning this year’s panel with a couple of newbies filling out our group of twenty. And on the subject of newcomers we have Champs-Elysées Film Festival (the Paris event takes place next month from the 20th to the 27th of June) as our media partner.

As per usual, we’ve have updates twice per day (sometimes three) for the comp films with our critics sending in their grades at all hours of the day. So you’ll want to come back daily to see how our jury assesses the Class of 2023. Here is our army of brave critics below.
