Deadline reports that production will begin anytime soon on Gentle Monster – and that Catherine Deneuve has also joined the previously announced Jella Haase and Laurence Rupp. If production runs smoothly enough, this could be ready for the Venice Film Festival as we prepare for a major 2026 for Seydoux who will likely be in a Cannes showcase for Arthur Harari’s L’inconnue. mk2 Films is the sales company onboard the project which is produced by Film AG’s Alexander Gehr and Johanna Scherz with Komplizen Film and Kazak Production.
