2014 TIFF: Safdie Bros.’ Heaven Knows What

Following the premiere of their caustic new film, Heaven Knows What, at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival (it premiered in Venice and had it’s NYFF showing this week), the Safdie brothers, Benny and Joshua, along with cast members Arielle Holmes, Caleb Landry Jones, and cinematographer Sean Price Williams, stayed for a lively Q&A that delved headlong into the origins of the film, their artistic inspiration, the technical details of what it’s like to shoot guerrilla style on the streets of New York City and much more.
