Fruits de Mer: Guillaume Canet Toplines Stéphane Brizé’s Next Project

Date:

Stéphane Brizé is set to move into production on his next ninth feature film as the first player to climb abroad will be vet Guillaume Canet. Filming will begin in March 2023 in the region of Brittany – Morbihan to be more specific. Gaumont are backing the project. We’d earmark this for a 2024 film festival release, but we can’t discount a possible birth at Venice next year – Brizé’s A Woman’s Life premiered there in 2016. We’ll likely get more casting, synopsis news and learn the identity of the producers backing the currently untitled project in the coming weeks.

Featuring Vincent Lindon, Brizé’s last feature was At War – a competition selection at the 2018 Cannes Film Fest comp.
