On this week’s episode of IndieSponge, I invited Tommaso Tocci to discuss the possible titles that might make it into the 2020 edition of the Venice Film Festival. We looked at returning Golden Lion filmmakers who could return in Lorenzo Vigas, Gianfranco Rosi, Lav Diaz and Sofia Coppola. We looked at female filmmakers who could make a presence in the Copmp and side-bar, we looked at highly anticipated sophomore features, the French and Italian filmmaker presence and some key films that would be a total surprise.
