Date:

Supernova

Actor cum director Harry Macqueen scores a heavyweight cast and crew for his sophomore film Supernova, produced by Emily Morgan and Tristan Goligher. Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci headline the cast with Oscar nominated DP Dick Pope (Mike Leigh’s favored DP who lensed two other productions helmed by actors, Edward Norton and Chiwetel Ejiofor, in 2019) serving as cinematographer. Macqueen, whose onscreen debut was as a supporting player in Richard Linklater’s Me and Orson Welles (2008) first directed the 2014 drama Hinterland.

Release Date/Prediction: Macqueen wrapped production in November 2019 and we predict a premiere at TIFF 2020.
