Video Interview: Peter Strickland – In Fabric

We sat with filmmaker Peter Strickland following the premiere of his latest film In Fabric at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival. Strickland shares textual influences regarding his latest hybrid genre homage. Touching on his filmography and favored cast members, Strickland touches on the process of In Fabric (read review) as well as the project’s significant subtexts. Strickland (with whom we also included in our Off Set series) also reveals news on projects which unfortunately fell through and confirms his continued plans to move forward with making his 1980s set Night Voltage. In Fabric receives a theatrical release via the A24 folks in 2019.
