Moving from a brilliant dark comedy (Thoroughbreds) off campus mind-games to shark infested waters of the high school experience, for Cory Finley‘s sophomore feature he lines up a noteworthy cast comprised toplined by Hugh Jackman and Allison Janney and works from the text of I Think We’re Alone Now‘s Mike Makowsky. Filming on Bad Education took place in NYC this past October.

Gist: The unfolding of the single largest public school embezzlement scandal in history.

Release Date/Prediction: Toronto Intl. Film Festival could be the launchpad for the pic.
