His double Venice film festival award winning The Childhood of a Leader was mysteriously a no-show for the 2015 edition, but TIFF programmers decided Vox Lux was too good to pass up on. Brady Corbet‘s sophomore film was added to the Special Presentations line-up along with (the formerly known The Widow) Greta, Neil Jordan’s thriller starring Chloë Grace Moretz and Isabelle Huppert. The Discovery section is chock full of debuts from filmmakers we were introduced to in Berlin (Adina Pintilie’s Touch Me Not) and in Cannes (Lukas Dhont’s Girl) and a handful of world preems in Farming by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Swedish director and actress Tuva Novotny with Blind Spot (which was also selected to compete in the San Sebastián.
